Pie, Pie, and more Pie!!!!!!

*Disclaimer: "I wanted this blog to be like the journal and scrapbooking I have never done. Well, It is definitely heading that way!! But the way I figure, I haven't written in my journal for over 17 years and I haven't scrapbooked for about 18 months, not blogging for 3 months is nothing!!!

My friends Lori and Jana and I got together two days before Thanksgiving and did our pie baking. Lori made an apple pie and Jana made a 2 pumpkins, a pecan, and an apple pie. I made a pumpkin, a pecan, an apple, a mincemeat and 2 buttermilk pies. All together I think we made 11 pies that day. The pies on the table are the ones that we kept(except one). We had alot pies for just a few people, but they were happy tasting pies! For Thanksgiving we had my mom and dad, Curt and I, and our 3 girls.

Norah didn't wear this costume for Halloween, but we had a picture taken in it anyway. The other two girls had their pictures taken in it when they were 6 months and 4 months. Norah is almost 8 months old. Norah is our biggest baby yet so the costume was a little snug lengthwise!

Maren's headpiece for her fairy costume. She wanted to be a water fairy.

Our girls: a water fairy, a snow princess and a painted pony!

Our little spotted pony, Norah.

Our friends Cody and Steve. Cody (our Bishop) was an airport runway and Steve was the adjoining golf course.

The crew: (back row) Maleah 9, Isaac 7, Maren 8, Alcy 4, (front row) Jessica 7, Rylan 7 1/2 months, Norah almost 8 months, Abbie 5, Eliza 3.

Rylan the pumkin and Norah the horse, leftovers from Cinderellas carriage!

This is my measurement pumpkin. I have had the girls stand next to the pumpkin every Halloween since Maren was about Norah's age. It is fun to see their growth.

Yum, yum, Norah knows the good stuff!

The slightly creepy, ever goofy Alcy!

Maren's pumpkin that she mostly carved herself. It is a bat flying in front of the moon.

Which Disney Princess Are You?

You Are Snow White!

Pure and trusting. You are a gentle soul who can get along with just about anyone. Everyone you meet instantly falls in love with you. How can they resist? You have a pure, lovable nature that's irresistable. Just don't trust everyone who comes across your path.

CHAPPELL - modeled by Norah!

This is a logo I came across, that I tweaked and made up some shirts and onesies for our family reunion. "Chappell - An extra "P" for pride and an extra "L" for living the good life!" I thought it seemed to fit my family.

Modeled by Norah and assisted by Alcy

Norah is almost 7 months old here.

Alcy's Soccer

Alcy took part in a soccer clinic at the end of September/beginning of October through the YMCA. It was a pre-K clinic. It was funny to watch all of these 4 year old girls running around on the field. Most of them like to pick up the ball and carry it instead of kicking it. They seemed to play two main games; "What time is it Mr. Wolf?" and "Freeze Tag".
