This was my attempt at a photo shoot of the girls in their Christmas dresses. Norah had a hard time cooperating. Maren is 8 1/2, Alcy 4 1/2 and Norah 10 months old.

Norah has a sweet tooth. She enjoyed her marshmallow trees that she got for Christmas.

She really likes to lick the beaters when I make something. I think this was the only picture I took on New Year's Eve. We actually had Jana and Cody + 4 kids, Steve and Katie + 2 kids and Us + 3 kids over for food and games. We even stayed up until 2 a.m.. The next day was killer!!!

Wow!! I think Santa spilled his sleigh at our house. We had a really good Christmas.

We had a very nice Christmas and are very thankful for everything we received.

*warning: very long post ahead!!!

The day after Thanksgiving we went on our annual pilgrimage to find the perfect Christmas Tree. Did we want a Charlie Brown? A corner tree? A closet tree? No, we wanted a GIANT tree! Well we searched and searched and I think we ended up coming back to the very first one we saw. It ended up being over 10 ft. tall.

This is our new tree stand. Last year after our tree fell 4 times and 2 different tree stands, we ended up chucking our tree off the deck and putting up our little scrawny fake one.

Natural History Museum and Thanksgiving Dinner

The day before Thanksgiving we took the family and my Mom and Dad to the Natural History Museum. It is a really neat place with alot of mammoth fossils that were found in farmer's fields here in Nebraska. Norah is almost 9 months here.

We had so much food but it was so good!

Norah had so much fun beating on Grandpa. The video follows. I missed the best part of her laughing so hard.

We loved having my parents out for Thanksgiving. They came out for 5 days and it was the best time ever. We relaxed and weren't constantly on the go. It wasn't too short and it wasn't too long. JUST RIGHT! Thanks Mom and Dad, (I love you and the kids do too!) Curt is still looking outside to see if the sky is falling!!

This is my measurement pumpkin. I have had the girls stand next to the pumpkin every Halloween since Maren was about Norah's age. It is fun to see their growth.

Alcy's Soccer

Alcy took part in a soccer clinic at the end of September/beginning of October through the YMCA. It was a pre-K clinic. It was funny to watch all of these 4 year old girls running around on the field. Most of them like to pick up the ball and carry it instead of kicking it. They seemed to play two main games; "What time is it Mr. Wolf?" and "Freeze Tag".

I am just trying to get caught up on life. These videos are when Norah first started crawling back in September. She was 6 1/2 months old. She just turned 8 months old a couple of days ago. Life has not been the same since she became mobile!

I don't know if you can actually see from this picture, but it goes Tacey, Emiko & Mari! They were all wearing the same shirt. They had also all went shopping together and bought the same shorts. It has been really hard for the last while to tell them apart from behind. We thought it would be really funny if they wore their matching clothes. Two of them even had matching shoes!
